1. MOVIES: “Hail, Ceasar” is NOW PLAYING in theaters with lots of well-known actors! This comedy is based in the 1950’s where Eddie Mannix is busy at work trying to solve all the problems of the actors and filmmakers at Capitol Pictures. A movie about the movies! 🙂 rated PG-13

2. MOVIES: “The Choice” a romance/drama is now playing. A poignant and life-affirming celebration of love, marriage and family that explores the most heart-wrenching question of all: how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive? Rated PG-13

3. MOVIES: “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” is now playing in theaters. This horror/action film is putting a bit of a twist on Jane Austin’s fantasy. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. They must join forces to keep each other alive. Rated PG-13

4. FOOD: The TERMINAL Brewhouse beside the Chattanooga Choo Choo is all about keeping it local. If you have not yet visited this brewery on the South Side try it out this weekend! Only the freshest foods and finest hops make it into the Terminal and their passion is that only world-class beer and exceptional food make it to your table.

5. FOOD: If you are looking to eat some great food, maybe play some games, as well as get pretty social, then you MUST try Southside Social. It is a family-friendly boutique bowling alley with 10 lanes of bowling and 3 bars. They offer lounge seating with flat-screen televisions. in addition to the bowling, southside social offers indoor gaming area with pool tables, skee ball, ping pong, shuffleboard, giant jenga and more. They also have an outdoor courtyard with casual seating, fire pits, bocce ball court, horse shoes, and corn hole. What more can you ask for to have a great time?

6. FOOD: Want to casually lounge around but with some of the finest dining? How about St. John’s Meeting Place. Located off Market Street right beside St. JOhn’s Restaurant. St. J MTG. PL. has an upstairs lounge area with a couple long high top tables and couches as well as it’s own bar. Enjoy the same quality, attention to detail and hospitality as St. John’s in a more casual atmosphere.

7. MUSIC: Check out the Granfalloon this weekend where they are featuring a birthday bash for Bob Marley! Different performers will gather here for what would have ben Bob’s 71st birthday. Happening Saturday 9PM, tickets in advance are $12.50, and $15 at the door.

8. MUSIC: THE BREAKFAST CLUB IS BACK!! Come see this awesome 80’s band at the Revelry Room tonight at 9PM! Must be 18 yrs or older and have a valid ID to show at the door. Price to get in is $12. Doors open at 8PM.

9. MUSIC: If Metal is more your style then come see Graveyard Saturday night 8PM at the Revelry Room featuring Spiders. Tickets in advance are $17 or $20 at the door. Must be 18 yrs or older and show a valid ID at the door. Doors open at 7PM.

10. EVENT: Come see “Saturday Night Live” performer Tim Meadows at the Comedy Catch Friday February 5th and Saturday the 6th. He will be doing 2 sets each night at 7:30PM and 9:45PM. It’s $23 per ticket. Don’t miss it!
