Let’s talk FOOD for this cold weekend.
1. FOOD: What better way to warm your bones than this new Cuban Cantina and Rum Bar! Located on Cherokee Boulevard is Chattanooga’s Embargo 62! On Friday’s and Saturday’s their kitchen and bar stay open until midnight!
2.FOOD: The Bitter Alibi is another great addition to Chattanooga located on Houston Street. They use Niedlov’s Bread and source local fruits and vegetables when available, a must try! Their bar hours on Friday and Saturday are 4PM to 2AM.
3.FOOD: If you are more in the mood for an early breakfast or lunch date then check out The Farmers Daughter located off Hixson Pike. It is a farm-to-table cafe featuring a simple menu using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Hours of operation are 7AM to 2PM Tuesday through Sunday.

4.FOOD AND MUSIC: The Camp House off MLK BLVD is seriously one-of-a-kind! Not only do they serve Counter Culture Coffee, which is widely regarded as one of the best roasters in the world, but their food is amazing and menu is expanding! Their space is used for multi-purpose with an assortment of tables and couches to fit whatever your mood. On top of all this they also have live music and events. Friday 1/22/2016 is Cozzee Night feat. Legal Adult, Talking Blues Band, Saints & Sound, & Brandon Snipes at 7PM. Saturday 1/23/2016 check out Urban League Young Professionals Old School Party.
5.FOOD AND MUSIC: The Chattanoogan’s upscale lounge, The Foundry, is the perfect place to unwind after work or meet family and friends.The Foundry’s game room has billiards, table shuffleboards and televisions for watching sporting events.On Friday and Saturday nights, local groups perform live music. This Friday and Saturday 1/22 – 1/23 Ashley and Gage Sharp will be performing live.
6.FOOD AND MUSIC: I’m sure you’ve heard by now the buzz about Chattanooga’s newest inventive restaurant STIR. This place literally has it all. If you need to have a private party they have a room for that, if you’d rather stick to the bar scene they have an awesome bar including artisanal ice and of course craft cocktails, not to mention they also have an oyster bar! You’ll be sure to go back for more of this place! It is located off Market Street connected to the Choo Choo and the Revelry Room!
7.MUSIC: So after you get done with your fresh food and drinks at STIR The Revelry Room welcomes you with their weekend concerts! This Friday night 1/22 SOCRO is performing featuring DJ Spoon with Christian Hip Hop. Doors open at 8PM. Saturday 1/23 Marc Broussard is performing featuring Peter Aristone with an alternative/rock style. Doors open at 7PM Saturday and of course you must be 18 and up and show photo ID both nights to enter.
8.MUSIC: Track 29 welcomes Jamey Johnson to Chattanooga. He is a country singer with guest Chad Hennessee. He is performing Saturday 1/23 at 8PM, doors opening at 7PM. I hope you already got your $30 tickets because this show has SOLD OUT!!

9.MOVIES: Leave the kiddo’s at home, Dirty Grandpa is now playing in theaters! Zach Efron plays an uptight lawyer who is about to marry his bosses controlling daughter, which will help him in getting partnership at his firm. In the mean time he is tricked by his Grandfather, played by Robert De Niro, into driving down to Daytona Beach for a wild spring break. See what you think about this “dirty” comedy! It is rated R.
10.MOVIES: If thrillers and horror movies are more your fancy then check out The Boy. A young American named Greta takes a job as a nanny to an 8 year old boy. She quickly realizes that he is actually a life-size doll. When she violates a list of strict rules a strange series of events start to happen making the doll appear to be alive! The Boy is rated PG-13.
